Lego Helo 1
Lego Helo 2
What do you think?
No black but it was supposed to be a bit original and it was built about 15 years ago or so and I just took it's pic a few months ago.

Yep about 15 years. Also see here: http://www.t-mobilepictures.com/9906914/LEGOComosicus wrote:It looks nice. Did it actually survive for 15 years? ... now you stirred my need for an Airwolf wallpaper.
The truck is about as old but the 4 winged ship is even older. I did that one in high school and the orignial blue/white version (rebuild in to this one) was done in middle to junior high. When you lay in a hospital or recovering at home from open heart surgery you have lots of time to design and tweek. I love LEGO. My wife, although, has banished them to the attic. Okay I voluntered to do that.
I have a few DVD screen caps of Airwolf. They're not bad but a bit grainy.

They're not too bad. I captured as a very high resolution on my laptop and it looks good. I went back to the Emperor's throne room from ROTJ as the wallpaper since I named that computer VADER. If you want I can try to post a few here or send them to you. Jest let me know.Comosicus wrote:Anything that might get as a wallpaper? Very nice. No idea how you hung onto it for that long though.

Thanks!Darth Wong wrote:Very nice. No idea how you hung onto it for that long though.
During college I was living with and taking care of my grandfather till he died in 91 and the legos were there to give me a distraction. The helicopter, the truck and the ship were just sitting on a shelf like regular models. They have quite a bit of dust on them. I got rid of most of the dust buy running water over them. But I don't have time to do much with Lego now.
I have now just been working on real models. I am working very slowly on the Polar lights refit Enterprise and decided not to light it as I did light an amt one in '92. It look good but after sitting so long I lost most of the lights inside and don't know what happened. I am afraid to take it apart because I would not be able to put it back together again and still look good.
This is how it looks now with some of my other Star Trek models:

I want to get back to legos. I have a lot of the Star Wars sets and have worked on my one refit Enterprise engine room set that I came up with.
