That was pretty good (though I thought the combat sequence dragged a bit). The real question is, how long until it's determined to violate the TOS?

That will be great, IMO. The more controversy, the more people will seek it out.

Ironically your version actually would actually make a good bridge between the real Odds and the actual movie trillogy.

It's really the only way "ODDS" could make sense. Traviss should thank me.

It would actually make it rather interesting, kind of a conspiracy arc story, like X-Files before it started to suck ass. Also the angle about the Sith exploiting the last of the Mandalorians because they kicked their asses a thouand years ago is actually better than most of the hack shit from the EU.

Of course in reality Odds is just KT Jelly's desperate attempt to cover her ass.

Anyway, really cool; battle sequence was a little lengthy but i did like the medic that was an interesting touch (in most of the movies shot=teh dead).

That was very good, Lord Poe! The opening sequence dragged on a bit, but otherwise it was great!

Good job. You actually found a way that Odds could be retconned out again, should LFL ever grow a pair of balls and own up to their mistakes. Ideally that piece of crap "story" would have never been written in the first place. If you ever want to make a "Special Edition" of this, I suggest cutting back on the combat and replacing it with more satire/commentary/jokes at Odds's expense. :)

Only parts that dragged out was the fighting and the end laughter. Everything else was great. Was that really the thing in Odds, them finding a few chips or computers or whatever telling them there were only a few dozen droids made per factory?

Poe posted the entire Odds story in this thread. In the story, the supposed largest battledroid factory outside of Geonosis (which for some unknown reason doesn't have ANY security or quality checks  ) was said to have made just under one million droids in a year. This was supposed to support Traviss's retcon that the droid army numbered only in the hundreds of millions, which would fit her original bullshit claim in The Guide to the Grand Army of the Republic that there were only 3 million clones and they were worth about 200 droids each.

The most hilarious thing is that a single Geonosian droid factory, which all were old, obsolete and inefficient, could manufacture 125 million droids per year (as per an estimation in this thread) while one of the largest outside of Geonosis manufactured a mere million. Naturally, this doesn't make any sense whatsoever and is again showing that someone didn't look at AOTC carefully.

Very nice (really, The Movies must be an awesome program), and quite frankly, it was a great deal more enjoyable than ODDS was, written by a "professional" author.

This really symbolizes the absurdity of the whole situation, had we had that kind of attitude from the actual professional writer in this case, we'd never even get this far. :P

I enjoyed it. I should have read ODDS first and watched this after though. Would've spared me the bad taste in my mouth quickly.

Seriously, this is why films are put in front of test audiences before release. Anyway, hope you like the new version:

Too bad it'll be deemed inappropriate as soon as any of the Fandawhorians find it.
