I used to like the show, but when it got to its, what? Ninth spin-off, I kind of lost interest. I tuned into a recent episode by accident a few days ago; it was both extremely derivative (of itself, in earlier seasons) and incredibly grating. And one would think that after so many hideous failures, Team Rocket would get fired, quit, or, you know, just die.

Join the club. I was little when GSC came out, and I made up my own personal fanon to tie every little tidbit together, and made up some additional crap just for kicks and giggles.

Why can't they just release framebuffer grabs god dammit

I don't believe I've seen such a high poly game ever, but it could be just the crappy video.

Two Pokemon players in high school used to follow me around during gym and call me a homosexual. I've nothing against gay people, so that part didn't bug me too much, but they wouldn't leave me alone. Those effeminate assholes were running around talking shit to me while playing a game for little girls. Fuck that shit. I should have put boiled eggs in their pizza, those sons of bitches.
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

Pokemon Silver was the highlight of Pokemon as far as I'm concerned, and God damnit Lugia will always have a special place in my heart!
/agree

After Silver/Gold, it really felt like they were just making more for the sake of it, with no real advancements. Shame really :(

I'd have to agree there. Ruby and Sapphire were really a step backwards, with only as much advancement over Crystal as Crystal itself was over Gold and Silver. Emerald, when it finally came out, was what the games should have been in the first place.

Still, Mysterious Dungeon and Ranger have both been damn good, and Diamond and Pearl both sound to be shaping up well (Battle anyone in the world via DS WiFi, with VoIP), so I can't really complain too much.

They were. Team Rocket had a shortage of personel however, so they managed to get back in. It's implied that they actually do missions in between when they run into Ash and gang, which they tend to do fairly competantly. (Remember, Ash has saved the world several times, and always gets high positions in tournaments. Just to do as well as they do against him, they're far ahead of the average person in that world as far as their Pokémon go).

As far as your comments regarding the voices, etc, go....well, I wouldn't know. I watch (and fansub) the Japanese versions.
