Clone Wars on youtube

Post by Fire Fly »

I was surfing through youtube and found a person who had posted all of the Clone Wars cartoons online and thought I would share with those who may not have seen it.

Link

They're on pages 5, 6, and 7 with page 7 being the first few episodes.

Not having seen the entirety of the show before and having read some past reviews, I have to reiterate my extreme distain for the lancers, the seismic tank dohicky, and the no variation in military units/ships/personnel. Overall, not bad; it could've been a lot worse and it was certainly enjoyable.

EDIT: I was also a bit annoyed that the only clonetroopers who acted like a military unit were the ARC troopers. Chapter 3 was particulary enjoyable and one of my favorite. They need to make more Clone War series with action like that and more actual battle scenes and planetary asssaults.

I think the seismic "tank" was actually some sort of mining or terraforming equipment improvised as a battlefield weapon in that situation, wherein the Republic forces had no armor assets or air support. A mining vehicle of some sort would make sense, from the Commerce Guild.

Oh yeah. Badass.

Agreed. I have high hopes for the upcoming series.

Ah, thank you lord. I'm glad it was just a mining/terraforming vehicle that was commandeered by droid forces.

Actually, it was heavily implied in its profile that the Seismic Tanks were meant for military purposes as terror weapons but used "mining" as a cover before the wars.

And Lucas said it would be all big battles in the new CW 3D animation series, so I've got high hopes as well. 8)

Please be clear that under no circumstances should you use this information to infringe copyright. Anyway, it's possible to download videos [+http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php] from youtube as .flv files and then watch them using something like VLC Player. Further, youtube changes the URLs for their videos every ten minutes, but as long as a video is still downloading it remains viable (i.e. after ten minutes you can't pause it or it'll fail and you'll have to get the new url).

Also (since it is such a despicable thing that i'm sure none of us here would dream of doing), copyright-infringing series (or certain random episodes) are often yanked off youtube within days or weeks of appearing.

For those of you with a little extra dough, you could also get Hyperspace. All of the the Clone Wars episodes are on there. Or you could try renting them from Blockbuster. It only takes about $5 here.
