Who couldn't? Without his bands, he's below average for named characters. Hell, at this point it's quite possible Shader could hand him his ass (yay magic!) :D
Well, I knew he wasn't amazing, but damn - Shader?

I suppose I should rephrase. Umber would rip him a new one that you could drive the moon through. Effortlessly. With his eyes closed.
What is Project Zohar?

Here's to a certain mostly harmless nutcase.

Hey, watch your assumptions :P. Magic is very heavily influenced by knowledge of the materials you are wishing to alter, and Shader's a fucking well of information. He was born to be a mage :). Still, though... yeah, probably not yet. Give him a year and a half.

(and Edge kind of sucks at magic. Remember, even he says he got drafted into the cannon fodder troops .)

If you can handle a nice, sweet, juicy (erk, don't get the wrong idea from those adjectives) and really rather significant (this may be an understatement) Dark Councilors spoiler (which you technically knew if you could recall my really old art threads anyway --which you probably can't! ... or maybe if... ah, screw it) you are free to...

(since I think everyone knows now)

Think about what the picture is saying, but remember not everyone may select to look at the picture and thus make the text tiny in any further discussion. :)

(In fact, even the latter half of your statement might be worthy of small-sizing)

...

Lauer Sunder did not kill the Black King of Syvoria!

Someone else, who we will leave nameless, severely maimed and degraded him instead. Also, by logical extension, Llanlleia taking credit for that downfall is merely wishful thinking.

Ooooh.
Umber=King of Syvoria? Edge wtfpwns him with Lauer's bands and everybody in Llanelia thinks Lauer did it? Umber doesn't seem like a king to me but then again nobody in Dark Councellors really seems to fit their job profile except Edge, Delahour, Selia, Shader, and Hyral...

Thats Umber? I thought it was Hoqer.

Of course, I can never tell those two apart, other than one's good and one's evil.

Shhhh micro-text son.

Fine, if you're going to ruin it slightly I'll just tell everyone the whole spoiler picture: Hyral ascends to the throne of Llanelia. Umber becomes a Basal Key because apparantly if he gains too much weight he gets all soft and emotional and turns Good. Oh, and Edge and Ryvara are sharing smoochies in the background.

That's what the Llanlleians referred to him as. He wasn't a King, just a Councilor. He was, however, quite a formidable --and ancient-- enemy. They were damn glad to see him gone... until Edge showed up and made them kind of regret that initial reaction :P. Edge doesn't follow the "rules".

ACK, man! I would never draw something like that!

Now, Zixer and Darius, ... well! :P

Umber= skinny and white.

Come to think, what happens if you poke Edge in one of his black eyes? Is it just as sensitive as a real eye? That would hurt, you know. What with most Syvorian women having blades and horns galore...

And please, the real couple is Umber and Edge. They bicker like an old married couple- you can thus tell they're secretly in love. [/]. I learned that from Red vs. Blue, because apparantly Simmons and Grif are in love according to Doc.

The someone else is going to have a nasty, hurting blemish --but Edge isn't particularly going to notice anything . And Edge has serious experience with Syvorian women. He can handle it 8) *cheesy porno music.*

Oh god. No. No, no, no, no, no . God. Painful. Ack. Edge and Umber married. Ack, ack, ack. Where the hell do you get a wedding dress Umber's size, anyway? Size 0 XXXXXXXXTall?

Someone caught me in mid-edit, it seems. This is version 1.2 of my message, not the release one. ;)

Oh true, right, he has his bands. Is momentum conserved with those? Amusing thought- Pirates of the Carribean as my inspiration- Edge walks into bar, says hi to woman, gets slapped in face. Woman sprawls herself on floor. End scene.
And please, the real couple is Umber and Edge. They bicker like an old married couple, attempt to murder eachother like one, and thus probably are secretly.

He already wears a dress, so they'd just have to dye it white. And find some sort of crazy huge veil, like maybe just a sheet of the material and put it over his head. ;)

Actually, seriously, if there were to be any tomfoolery I'd see it as Hyral and Kesyl (I know, whoever is reading this you just went "!!!"). But think about it- one needs money, the other is rich... ;)

Normally that only works when the bombshell is the poor one :P.

She is. :P

Okay, that out of the way:
Pick wrote:Haven't decided, since that's pretty damn important. I'm thinking that it is, but he still doesn't get hurt as a result of where he ends up.
Well, that answers a question that I didn't ask, but what about this:
If Edge gets hit in the face by a muscle-bound 8-foot tall guy, and that normally would send him flying backwards, does the blunt trauma of the blow send the other guy backwards too since the bands reflect?
If no, how does the damage transfer work if no momentum is applied to the guy hurt? Law of Sympathy type thing, where bones break, things crush, and blood vessels simply rip open in response to what should have happened to Edge?

What happens if Edge stabs himself while staring down a Crag and he does it with a knife hard enough to break his own skin but not hard enough to pierce a Crag's armor? Does the Crag still get the wound? If so, could Edge thus concievably defeat a heavily armored dragon by jabbing himself with a toothpick enough?

[Shader and me seem to have about the same level of curiosity...]

I resent the bigoted assumption that one of them must necessarily be in a dress!

Yeah, I know he normally wears a dress, but they'd BOTH look great in a tuxedo.

You people always have the most interesting discussions when I'm absent. How very inconsiderate.

:P

As everything I would have said has been said, I shall say something else:
Since I don't feel like spoiling myself beyond looking at the newest picture, I may have missed it, but I assume that this is not entirely pivotal to the point of the picture; What is the weapon the Black King is holding (he looks great, by the way)? Do azzarn mages use scepters to amplify and project their power; it looks rather to cumbersome to be a conventional battle axe, etc.?

Now the update's up, so enjoy :P.

('tis a small update, I'm writing more, but yes.)

As for the sceptre, it's probably enchanted or something to be of aid in magical endeavors. And it looks cool *squee!*

PS- I'm also amused that apparently no one was able to avoid looking at it? One day? More like 12 hours or something? :P Oh you silly people.
