Post pictures of your car
We had one of these a long time ago, but most of the links are broken, not many people posted, and there were a lot of junk entries (some guy posted a strategic bomber, WTF).
I recently got a picture I've been wanting to get for awhile now (just on a lark) so I thought this would be a good way to share.
I like to call this picture "The Horse and the Bird"
(mom's car is the Mustang, mine is the Thunderbird)
here is one from when it was a bit cleaner (gravel roads make my car dirty =( )

While I love the side of that car, the front has always been a turn off for me.

My current ride, a BMW 320d. It is really a nice car. Has no name, though. End of August, I'll get a new one, though this time with a bit different selection of extras...

This is my baby. It's a 2000 Dodge Dakota. Upgrades included a bunch of shit I spent too much money on.
This is the truck that keeps the miles off my baby. It's a 1992 Ford Ranger I picked up for about $2800. I stripped all the Ford logos off and replaced them with Dodge ones because the look on the guys face at Kwik Kar was always fucking classic. The old Rangers look a similar to Gen 1 Dakotas.

Unless you get that thing covered in mud sharpish, you may just be a poser.
Sudden power is apt to be insolent, sudden liberty saucy; that behaves best which has grown gradually.

Sorry for the poor image quality. I took them with my cellphone camera. 2006 Pontiac GTO, aka, Holden/Vauxhall Monaro in Oz/UK respectively. There's nothing like tooling along at seventy with the engine barely turning over.

That said, I never liked it being sold as a GTO. In my book, the only GTO is this.
I, being 17, have no car, sadly.

Heh, I bought it because I liked the car, not because of the badging. I realize that a lot of purists don't think it's a real goat. On the flip side, you'd need a seriously hopped up Judge to compete with even a bone stock modern Monaro.YT300000 wrote: As James May once put it: You fat, lazy Aussie!

The best part is telling real Australians that I have one. They cream their jeans and then get jealous. Apparently we got something like 3 times as many of them in the US as they did, so they are hard to find down under.

The Monaro is a beautiful car; and they are rare, dammit.Vain wrote: The best part is telling real Australians that I have one. They cream their jeans and then get jealous. Apparently we got something like 3 times as many of them in the US as they did, so they are hard to find down under.

Got it last year back in mid November. A very nice and fun car to drive.
