Cool sigs

Post by jegs2 »

Was perusing around for mods on the net, when I stumbled across these animated sigs in a forum. I thought they were a hoot; take a look:

Hey now, some of us have the consideration not make an animated gif over 40kb for the purposes of sig content. You want to talk about bad sigs and avatars, try Don Murphy's Message board or the Allspark. I swear it's some law that all Transfans have to have sigs longer than half of their posts.

heh, i can't draw but all of my sigs are self photoshopped. I think my current one is possibly my best ever. my equilibrium sig coming close second.

I was without effective muse for a long long time between making those two.

You were saying?

Though I should note that the dragon in my sig is less than 7 kB in size, so it's less of a load than some of the static sig pics people have here.

Yours is good because it's unobtrusive, and because it makes sense; it's just a dragon, only it's flapping its wings. It's not like "OMG LOLOLOLLLOOL LOOK AT THIS CAR CRASH" or something equally obnoxious.

:D Thanks!

It's funny, I was originally going to have a static sig pic, but then Surlethe said he was disappointed he wouldn't be able to easily spot my posts because I no longer had an animated avatar. So I tried how the avatar, originally 64x64 pixels, would look in the sig and enlarged it to 100x100 so it didn't screw up the sig text formatting. And it's still unobtrusive enough that it isn't in your face or obnoxious, but will easily draw attention because of the movement. So it serves as a good marker for my posts. What with a much better looking avatar for the trade, I sure as hell can't complain! :D

What Uraniun said. Animated sigs aren't so bad when they're small and relatively unobtrusive with minimal frames. ;)

Good times. Just there for Mods or do you post on the forums? I have an account but don't post so much.

Try to guess what the account name is. ;)
