Why even bother posting such a horrifically one-sided scenario? The Orcs have no heavy or long-range weapons, and that's not going to help them against clonetrooper rifles with multi-kilometre ranges, gunship air support, artillery, AT-TE walkers, the whole smackdown. I think they would break and run from the massively overwhelming firepower and get mostly shot in the back or blasted from above.

I think he means the Orks from Warhammer 40K not Tolkiens Orcs.

Exactly.

Who have horrific Long-Range Weaponry, and Heavy guns.

Personally, I'd be afraid of what they would consider the equivalent of a Core Ship.

whoops...:D

Hmmm, I think the Orks take it....hell, with a good enough Warboss they would probably outthink the Clones :D

although Orky weapons might have trouble with Stormy armour....although Im pretty sure the vast amount of large caliber bullets they can produce might help in that regard,

Close In, the Clones get torn limb from limb.

and I would just love to see the look on a Jedi's face when they have to fight a Mega-armoured ork :D

Clones only real hope is to open up with there transports guns.

Shokk Attack Gunz = no more AT-TE's and other walkers.

Hordes of Orks with Gretchin screens = significant challenge for clones.

Nobz and Big Boys in Mega-Amour = good match for Jedi.

I'd say the clones are arguably comparable to the Tau in training and technology, so I would say that the outcome should be evaluated from that basis. Given enough distance between the Ork force and the Clone force, the Clone firepower will tear the Orks to shreds, but with sufficient cover and a relatively short distance to cross, the Orcs will brutalize clone troopers in close combat.

Technology ?

umm, not with those blasters they ain't.. :?

As for clone firepower, they have lots of it....but then again, so do Orks...in a battle the size of Geonosis theres gonna be at least a few Gargants and Stompers, plus ork Fighter-bombers.

And Orks are highly mobile, lots of small crappy transports, etc enough to get em moving anyway....lots of Ork casulties...but its not like they care.

Admittedly at range the Clones will have great fun pounding the Orks, but as I mentioned, the Orks can most certainly pound back, with some hefty Battlewagons, Gargants, and Stompers, plus various Orkish artillery pierces, the clones showed no real desire to hang back and use their firepower, jumped right in and started shooting....which, unfortunately is death when you face orks unless you happen to be Space Marines...even then its dangerous...unless you are a FleshTearer, in which case the Orks run screaming.

I doubt that the basic clone rifles will manage to kill orks very efficiently, a creature that shrugs off Lasrifles and bolters will be difficult to kill.
