Preregistration for GenCon (the tabletop gaming convention, which is why this post is here) in Indianapolis ends today; the convention begins on August 11th. I registered and reserved hotel rooms yesterday; anyone else going?

No, but if you see a Icelander named Orri and a guy with a hat, please steal Rip's hat for me. He will probably be hanging out somewhere near the ENworld crew, and aproaches Stravo's level of tale telling goodness. And he has a bitching hat.
And if you get a chance, do find the time to play in Shemmie's Planescape game. Slots are already probably full up, but at least check it out. There isn't enough PS in the world today.

It turns out I was remembering incorrectly; it begins on the 10th and runs through the 13th.
