No, because the particle-pair does not violate energy conservation, and the positive-energy particle is only persistent when the negative-energy particle has cancelled out some pre-existing real mass.

No. From what I understand, virtual particles are matter-antimatter pairs which are precisely opposite each other in every way. Thus, the total matter, energy, and angular momentum of the universe remains constant: you're essentially adding both one and negative one at the same time. They cancel each other out. Ergo, there's no need to introduce another universe (whatever that means) to justify their existence.
And what's the fifth fundamental force?
Beats me. I wonder what Crossroads Inc. has in mind.
A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.

Bah, that wa an error on my part, I meant to say 5 STRING THEORIES, there had been four big theories of String for quite a while, but part of M-theory was connecting a smaller fith theory.
