My script got the screenshot this time- set the refresh to every second...

EDIT: Damn, forgot to scroll down >_> Now nobody will know it was me!!! :(

Well, this thread is itself getting a bit spammy... maybe I'll go write that script to poll the front page to count posts/hour.

You beat me by one post. I wsa sitting and trying to get it in this thread so that there would be some measure of irony, but that didn't happen.

Yeah, you're sorry *now*. :)

It's terribly ironic that DEATH missed out due to his testing nonsense, though. :)

It's fitting that it went to someone who usually contributes with every post (usually about computers and shit I can't understand) instead of a retarded spambot.

Ohh like who wasn't trying to do it. I admit that it was stupid of me.

I think I missed it by one, but I don't know.

Absolutely - it sucks when these milestones go to lamers spamming out 'YES IT WAS ME I AM THE SPECIAL ONE' instead of contributors. Really, I think Mike should have broken the counter somehow and revealed the 2M poster a few hours after it happened. If that's even possible - which ironically Pu-239 could probably tell me. :)

At least the two millionth post was about an actual topic (mileage and cars), rather than being a pure spam +1 post.

And now, to commemorate the two millionth post ... SPAMWORLD returns!
For a time, I considered sparing your wretched little planet Cybertron.
But now, you shall witnesss ... its dismemberment!

Your countdown was annoying me, so I deleted it.

I'm suprised Spamworld was chosen, not that I'm not having fun but I expected something more long lasting.

I wasn't expecting anything actually, but I kinda thought it would be something we could all participate in. It's not like it matters, I don't have time to waste on the computer all day anyway, I have a family you know :P

A milestone is only noteworthy when the journey has been worthwhile. Hence the revival of Spamworld - it's like a stop-over at a park on a long family car ride: Get all the mindless crap and pointless energy out of the kids' system and stretch your legs before we go back to making a trek toward the next major point.
Note: I'm semi-retired from the board, so if you need something, please be patient.

*scratches head* Why couldn't you participate in Spamworld if you wanted to?

Well, that was precisely my point. There's only so many ways you get celebrate something on an internet board. :D

Dignity is gone. I'm wondering if anyone is tracking the spamboard like last AFD. I'd like to know the stats.

Damn, it happened just after I fell into slumber. But I couldn't afford to stay-up: summer job. No matter, I'll 'capture' a screen shot of the historic moment the same way as last time.
