Is DS1 or DS2 bigger than our Moon?
Stupid huh... if i wasn't so lazy I would find the calcs, but I figured you guys could probably rattle them off from memory.
I have a stupid question.

I have a stupid question.

No, both are significantly smaller.countdooku wrote:Is DS1 or DS2 bigger than our Moon?

Thank you, I did't know if we have a "Small Moon" as most of the other moons in our solar system are rather larger than ours If I can remember right.

Actually, most of the moons in Sol are smaller then ours. There are a handful larger and their all around Jupiter and Saturn. Our moon is larger then the rest, even Pluto.countdooku wrote:Thank you, I did't know if we have a "Small Moon" as most of the other moons in our solar system are rather larger than ours If I can remember right.

Luna, as far as moons go, is very large with a diameter of 3,476 km. In fact, it's larger than Pluto, which has a diameter of 2,274 km, and is often considered to be a planet.countdooku wrote:Thank you, I did't know if we have a "Small Moon" as most of the other moons in our solar system are rather larger than ours If I can remember right.
Orbiting Yavin IV, the first Death Star could easily be mistaken at first glance for a moon, since satellites of that size are rather common around gas giants.

I dont think so,IIRC its too close to the planet to be in a orbit.Hotfoot wrote:Luna, as far as moons go, is very large with a diameter of 3,476 km. At first glance, I said. Besides, didn't it go into orbit of Yavin IV to help move it into position?Sea Skimmer wrote:I dont think so,IIRC its too close to the planet to be in a orbit.
