Its an Akula. Akula is Russkie for shark.

The really low, long tower profile towards the rear of the hull gives it away. Can't tell if its got its towed array bulb on the tail.

I didn't know you had any left operational...

Three. The other three either have been or are in the process of being scrapped. Dmitry Donskoi (the sub in the picture) is the upgraded Project 941U version that's being used to test-fire the new SS-N-30 SLBMs, Archangelsk has only 10 SS-N-20 missiles remaining and Severstal has no missiles left but is still active (Putin uses it for when he wants to observe exercises). They might be upgraded to 941U to carry SS-N-30s operationally or they might simply be decomissioned shortly.

Globalsecurity.org shows Arkhangelsk as having no missiles and being planned for scrapping, while Severstal has 10 missiles but is in commission. Dmitry Donskoi is a test platform (like you said) and two others in reserve at Nerpichya Bay.
