Is he now. I've never been very good at multiplayer SE4, but I'm always interested in another game to play in between Dom2 turns.

Good you can get yourself set up very quickly. The game name is "SDN Adamant Game of Doom!!" or something like that on PBW.

Nephtys could kick Dalton (assuming he still wants to quit)... you know where to get the Adamant mod right, latest version?

By the way don't mind the war with the Somtaaw... all sins are forgiven now heh heh and if you want we could kiss and make up. I'll bring the flowers.

I have the latest version (0.15.00), but that's not the version that the game is using.

I'm not at all opposed to a slowdown, especially as Tobor is virtually incommunicado at present.

I'm surprised no one answered this one. There's a 0.15.04 patch that you get from the Adamant site. It's just a couple of files that you copy into your Data directory.

So the Dilgar United States fleet is toast? I knew your Kraken-II's were sex, but I didn't know whether you had enough of them.

The Centauri 1st Expeditionary Force is actually composed mostly of my own US ships and Black Sabbaths, with only a handful of Kraken-II's. The Dilgar US fleet is very much gone, however.

Hi, Brian here. I tried e-mailing you earlier Neph as soon as the turn executed too early... I missed submitting my Adamant turn last turn and I was wondering whether a roll back is out of the question, a roll back to turn 51.

Also, I need an extension for this turn anyway even if there isn't a rollback (turn 2405.2) because I won't be getting home by July 23rd at 4:11 EDT on time to submit my Adamant.

In case anybody's wondering why I'm having trouble, I ripped out my wireless card so I would have more time for other things, and I started working 60 hours a week. I can do my turns fast, but without Internet at home I need 1 day to get my turn, 1 day to do my turn (I do all three turns together) and 1 day to bring it back so I'll take 3 day turns for a little while. When I get used to it, hopefully in a week or so when my body stops screaming, I'll submit every two days.

And by the way Marxis expected the Dilgar to lose heh heh. My ships are powerful but I know they can't match planet killers or even equal amounts of Brakiri BS. You don't have to keep paying me Tobor heh heh.

Yeah, I'm sure the Marxis Corp stock holders will love that.

So peeps sorry for missing turns and whining, and I'll get to submitting turns ASAP.

Heh. You think you had it tough Brian?

Tobor has spent the last two weeks phoning his turns in via satellite phone. He hasn't been able to look at the screens and count squares and figure out nitty gritty. He gets told "The Centauri are moving back into Thessin via the gate and are chasing Alpha fleet."

He definately hasn't been running any sims.

I'm actually quite impressed with the way he's been able to keep an understanding of what's happening based purely on his own memory fo where things were and my verbal reports of the progress of the war.

Sounds rather humorously like a head of state keeping in touch with some generals from some bunker. :P

Either way, well. That speaks to the Centauri preparedness after the last war's catastrophic results. :)

Oh, and if anyone cares, ignore any 'strange' messages you may recieve in Adamant this turn. The computer did some diplomacy for me... :P

The Centauri were lucky, not prepared. In the fighting with the defenders of Thessin X, one Dilgar ship was damaged and had its movement capability greatly reduced. This is what gave the Centauri fleet the chance to catch up, since the entire Dilgar fleet slowed down to the speed of its slowest ship instead of leaving it to fend for itself. The Centauri fleet was ridiculously out of position and could not have caught the Dilgar fleet otherwise.

Trogs should give a posthumous medal to the captain who took out the engines of a ship in the Dilgar fleet. He single-handedly saved the populations of Thessin X, Centauri Prime and possibly more.

Shit, I didn't know that.

Anyone happen to know what the highest award the Centauri Republic can give is, or can I just invent one?

Ah, that explains it. I was looking at that display and thinking "man, there's no way they can stop that fleet before it glasses Thessin X".

The funny thing is that the fleet actually did make it to Thessin X, blew up everything in orbit of the planet and a building but that was it. :?

I got lucky. Compy did a turn for me and it pretty much did nothing but what I had asked my queues to do. Did declare war on someone, but that's all. :D

I didn't do my turn in time, and now I come back to see another one of my worlds blown apart and everything else fucked up.

Fucking wonderful.

Just got back today, so prepare for some major mayhem in the B-5 game again :D .

You donn't realise how boring it is stuck in a desert for two weeks. I've been dreaming about doing a b-5 turn for like 8 days now :D

Major mayhem? What do you call killing one of my homeworlds? A minor spat?
