Anyways, I inquired about this at my forum a few days ago:
I received the following response from one of my members:I own the Red Alert Domination Pack, the complete collection of a classic game that was once a best seller. I didn't purchase it since it was given to me by a friend of mine. The problem is, since it will only work on Win 95, 98, or ME, and since I'm using XP, I cannot install it. Is there a way around this that doesn't involve making a radical change or dishing out lots of cash?
Doing this enabled the game to install, but not to play. The error I receive is "RA95.EXE - Entry Point Not Found" (in the header) & "The procedure entry point SMapLS_IP_EBP_12 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll." (in the error box's message body). You could try setting the compatibility of the setup program to win98. I believe it is done by right clicking on the setup program in the disc then choosing Properties then under the Compatibility tab check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for" checkbox then choose win98. Hope this helps.
I have kept the CD in decent condition (within a jewel case, unexposed to heat and dust) after I installed it successfully and without problem when I was still using Windows ME (Yuck). It worked when I upgraded, too, if memory serves. . . but I now have a new computer (in replacement of that old one, which pretty much died), which is why I have to reinstall it.
