I got it from wikiquote.
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."

Those GW Japan Codexes are an interesting resource. There's only four of them up, but they appear to be full copies. The titles are easy enough to read, most being either in plain English or English rendered in Japanese, but beyond that the literary text is complicated and the rules are effectively useless to anyone not fluent. Good source for images and as a preview for purchasing (one downside to not having sufficiently-stocked Rogue Traders in my area is seeing very little of anythnig in person).

yup

refrence to how Vlad the impaler would have been as an SM captain

I did other quotes for Sherman, and Warboss "Blud & Gutz" (Patton) as well in the same post when I posted it in dakka.

the phrasing's changed and expanded but yeah, it's exactly like something I wrote. Amazing how things get transfered.

Well, it's in wikiquote. Someone must have liked it.

I can see why, you just need the Team America motto on that image and it'd fit right in

Just a question...

My Chappy is from a Blood Angels successor chapter. Is the angel-wing mutation from that geneseed common, or has it only occurred in cases where there was Chaos contamination, such as Brother Arkio (the BA Duology)? Cause I'm fancying possibly sculpting some wings at some point on him...

Try here.

EDIT: And I've seen pictures of Sanguinius with wings, so I imagine it's a trait of anyone with his gene-seed.

Other then Sanguinius I do not recall any Blood Angels on this side of the Emperor having wings. That being said, no reason not to give them to your chaplain, model them up and call them a jump pack, that I have seen modeled many times

Sanguinius was the only one who had wings. That trait was not part of the geneseed and has never been passed on. Thats why Arkio's transformation caused such a schism which them believing that their Lord had been reborn.

An assault Chaplain?

Nah, they can take jump packs. If they're leading an Assault squad, they can wear jump packs. Look up Chaplain Lemartes of the Blood Angels, he usually has one, leads a Death Company assault squad; this guy is just the same, except as an independent character...

I actually considered using leopard/cheetah skins on some of my Officers' robes; Sanguinius wore them, afterall. But it'd be difficult to blend it into my current themes so I think I'll stick to black and red cloth.

remember the guiness bottle is the objective, we can't let those space wolves get ahold of the guiness, they have no appreciation for fine irish booze.

Posting Exarch pics, forgot this bad boy earlier. He's finished except for the jewels and minor touch-ups here and there, notably on right knee pad.

Comments? Suggestions? I'm especially keen on how to do the jewels, those are bugging me...
