He states that the stars that are visible on earth, by the nake eye, are 2 light DAYS away, . . . .because Adam was able to see them when he was created on "day 6". . . . .

Your first idea won't work either. They just say that magnetic north is at the center of the disk and magnetic south is the ring around the outside of the disk. Its amazing all the excuses someone so retarded can come up with.

There is a slight curvature, like the head of a thumb tack. But still overall its flat.
