Noir was GARBAGE. Sure, I'd just finished CB... but it was horrible, poorly-written, self-indulgent emo crap. I actually own several of the DVDs, as I figured eventually it'd start going somewhere... but it didn't. Rubbish, watch GitS:SAC2 instead.
Noir has a pay off at the end. CB has Spike dying.

Given his nature as a tragic hero, I would have thought all CB viewers would have expected that. They spell it out in EPISODE FOUR. The climax of CB is, in all seriousness, the best piece of animated drama I've ever seen. Shit like Bubblegum Crisis and Noir are just pulp garbage by comparison.

...and you love anime? Is that kind of like how God's omnipotent and yet somehow we still have free will? Not that all of it's terrible. Yay naked exploding people!
Where's that photo of you with that crown/underwear thing stuck on your head?
Got yourself on a tasty sensible diet?
So, I couldn't help but notice that you really like Asuka. Me too! I mean obviously not as much as you of course...
Oh hey, are you a mod? It's sometimes hard to tell, incidentally I've been asked to inform you that there's an order prohibiting you from venturing within thirty yards of Einy's anus. Don't ask me why, I'm just the messenger.
If they really cut that. . .Thing out of the subsequent episodes, I'll be glad for it. Maho shojo transformation sequences do nothing but piss me off because they waste time. Although I do understand why they might be used in a anime, it just makes me mad. Irrational, but true. Then again, many people consider my prefered tastes weird.

Okay. Now, i'm sure that this is a perfectly fine show. But...
The reason I liked Powerpuff Girls in the first place was because of their awesome animation style. Especially the ones where the girls each told the story from their own perspective. Those were great.
It is a good style for the old show. Depending on how this one is written, though, this may prove a superior method.
"The rest of the poem plays upon that pun. On the contrary, says Catullus, although my verses are soft (molliculi ac parum pudici in line 8, reversing the play on words), they can arouse even limp old men. Should Furius and Aurelius have any remaining doubts about Catullus' virility, he offers to fuck them anally and orally to prove otherwise." - Catullus 16, Wikipedia

That's not animation, that's writing.
