I think the next meet, we should take Twilight Imperium from Hotfoot and play next month with the rest of the guys since he'll be so busy. Danny and especially Danny and I are getting the gist of the game so we could easily handle the game. In fact, it doesn't seem so hard at all now that we've played it.

Yes, we could've used a sixth player for Twilight. The game was tight enough with five players but imagine SIX! That'd be REAL interesting.

By the way, I'm going to be working on a way to speed up kit selections, because as of right now it takes far too long, even with people having "regular" loadouts.

Additionally, I may try playtesting of other cinematic rules, including WoO (Weapons out of Ordnance), to see how they fit the setting. Work will continue on the alternate setting, yadda yadda.

The downside to Twilight Imperium is that only six people can play, meaning that if we have our normal full complement, someone's going to have to sit out. After all:

...makes for seven.

However, if you all want to get together without me to play TI, that's cool, so long as everything comes back in one piece.

One Fruedian slip and the dogs of war erupt on my border like a bad replay of 1967.

And Fgalkin sets up while Hotfoot eats me.

Ow ow ow.

Ace is GONE...

Speaks for itself.

Soontir and Innocent clash.

With a weird result.

They rebuild within seconds.

End game, hotfoot won narrowly over me, due to forces.

The game was particularly brutal due to the overwhelming desire everyone had to crush their opponents through force of arms, rather than winning through use of victory points. The only reason I won was because I managed to fulfill my secret objective and nobody aside from Ace took the Imperial Strategy. Had someone whored out the Imperial Strategy, the game would have taken a very different turn (and with six players, it likely would have been taken more often).

In all, a very fun couple of days.

You should do the two dayers more often I suspect. Because each game takes up the whole day.

We should just keep him in a cage and carry him from meet to meet. It's not like he needs people food, just keep giving him cabbage and a big bottle feeder of vodka and he'll be right as rain.
