The IG and an allied Eldar finish off some Traitor IG and, uhm, Dark Eldar?

My boys killed over 900 units. That's a lot of dead space elves.

Good game Bystander!

I don't know how good I am, probably not very but I am up for it. I usually use Dawn of Warhammer 40K. But I also have Depth of Heresy, and Steel Legion.

I do have a question, can I update to 1.5 and still have my mods work? I don't think so but it would be nice.

Not up for any games right now. But eventually.

You *should* be able to update just fine. I can run DoW40K with 1.5 so you shouldn't have too many issues. That said I keep a backup copy of my installation which I did need when I installed 1.5.

Sorry for all the n00b questions.

Is there anything specific about making a backup copy or does it just involve copying the folder itself and putting it somewhere else before adding 1.5?

I just copy the folder straight. If the installation goes to hell just copy over it or alter your registry setting to the new location. Alternately keep both and have your modded version and regular version.

Replays, for those who desire:
Epic 'Mirror' battle The game lasted nearly an hour, most of which involved Ol' lonestar here holding the line as I sent in deep strikes to attempt and cripple the enemy infrastructure. This game was pretty much ALL tier 4 action. Hundreds, into the thousands, fell! It was a grand engagement. (Yesterday)

Lets NOT make it Orky This game involved Lonestar and I fighting Orks; and did they ever love their crazy little Storm boyz, fortunately we managed extremely well, I'm not sure how, but our infantry did extremely well until we got our vehicles out, at which point we slowly pushed our way through both Ork bases, destorying wave after wave of mega-armored nobz, boyz, and lots and lots of kill-o-kanz. (Today)

I believe I lost 4 Baneblades in that battle.

That was on the "Into the Breach" map and you lost four Baneblades? *jaw drops in utter shock*

In other news, anyone up for a game? DoWarhammer preferred. Winter Assault is open as well. This would be my first multiplayer game.

Epic battle Cyran, Bystander...Epic. I blame the lag on Bystander tho, because it wasn't an issue with just me and Cyran.

Either that or it was because of the pretty, pretty colors that the Steel Legion mod causes.

Ow... Pain.

Note to self. Next time, make sure that there aren't two enemy Steel Legion groups... Ow.

Stupid guardsman, it's your job to hold the line while I blow stuff up behind the lines. Be thankful you didn't lose 4 baneblades this time. :P

Just proving once again that Astartes are good at looking pretty, and little else. IG for the win! :P

I've noticed something in these multiplayer games...more often than not my conservative playing style means someone has to pull my ass out of the fire in the first 10 minutes or so...but once I get going, I get going. I think this is more because of the IG's strengths than any particular skillset of my own, though.

Well IG are pretty weak for the first ten or so minutes until you start churning out the Basilisks and Leman Russ tanks. After that they can kick a lot of ass but their openning game is really weak.
