If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down? We might if they screamed all the time for no good reason.

I thought it was kind of interesting; I've always been fascinated by what people subjectively consider beauty to be.

Looks at tans. 100 years ago, creamy white skin was considered beautiful, where as now tans are more in vouge.

Or bras. In the '50's, everyone was wearing those cone bras, where as now, rounded, filling, bras are the fashion.

It's interesting to me because I've known a lot of beautiful women that couldn't see themselves correctly in the mirror just because they didn't match what they saw on magazine covers.

That, and the article made me chuckle at the thought of the researchers:
"Honey, I'm just doing some research."

I think it's the industry trying to shovel their ideas of beauty down our throats.

The vast majority of men don't like twigs and never have. When was the last time you saw an anorexic porn star?

Indeed. Jewel De Nyle is a top-rated pornstar whose movies sell very well, and she's no twig:

Judging by current fashion trends, by 2025, men will wear their pants so low, it will tie their legs up and restrict movement, and women will get blonder and dumber.

I'm around the same height as a typical model (5'9") but I must weigh at least a good 30lbs more than they do. To me they look scrawny and fragile and some of them appear to be stand on little chicken legs! I don't know about you guys but I'm not a fan of the Kate Moss look!

I'm 5'9 150lbs with a nice curvy body and I'm damn proud of it!

Keep posting in small type, and I'll keep reposting it in big red type. I've gotten tired of straining my eyes trying to read that shit, and I suspect I'm not the only one.

Why don't you just upgrade to a browser--such as Mozilla--that lets you specify a minimum font size?

I dont like most of the women in todays Playboy. All the same. Bleach blond, fake breasts, etc.

Ive noticed now days I really find the 60's and 70's playmates with fuller bodies to be very attractive.

As for the study I would not use the word androgynous (sp?) to describe the women. That seems to carry a bit of a political agenda or am I infering too much?
