Shepards in Iraq have been slain because they failed to diaper their goats. Apparently, the sight of naked goats is too sexually tempting. Also, a grocer killed for the "suggestive" arrangement of his vegetables.

Why, oh why is sex such a big hang-up in most religions, but they can so easily direct others to slaughter at the drop of a hat?

After watch that vid 2 years back of a pair Iraqi men having sex with a donkey through nightvision goggles, I wouldn't be completely surprised that there are places out in the cuts that would have barnyard orgies.

Anyways, aside from continued jokes about Iraqi men considering goats sexual, (possibly the best direction this thread could take) I'd think that sex is possibly one of the greatest links across all religion. First, it's an act of extreme sensuality and pleasure, which in the religious view should be linked towards their deity. It's seen as solely an act of creation of a child - creation is also a trait associated with the Divine. When sex is associated, whether negatively or positively, with the God-figure, it inextricably becomes linked to religion, and is bound by tradition, then ritual, then taboo.
