Are threads expressing opinions that are contrary to Darth Wong's simply being deleted? Whos deleting them and why? Or is it a bug the apparently only two contradictory to Wong's Essay threads dissappeared?

Can Darth Wong still be considered a truth seeker if he or his moderators are simply deleting threads that bring up opposing opinions? Or is there some other reason for thier deletion?

And why was my Vympel debate left untouched?

It was certainly not deleted, not on purpose, anyway. Even the most idiotic threads are not deleted. That's what the HOS is for.

Who do you think opposes NAFTA and Globalization? Who speaks with ill content 'they closed the plant and moved to mexico' Republicans? I dont think so. Ever heard of FARM SUBSIDIES!!! 30 Billion dollars per year. Liberals have always been the biggest proponents of farm subsidies, and in doing so are perpetuating the economic imbalances between 1st and 3rd world countries, keeping poor countries poor by taking away any ability for them to make a living.

In the US, 'liberal' is used by the main stream (=right wing everywhere else on the planet) as a stopword to marginalize issues in much the same way that 'antisemeite' is used to dismiss criticism of Israel. In American usage, liberal is simply a description given to ideas--social justice, health care, effective crackdowns on white collar crime, etc--that are regarded as too unAmerican to contemplate.

You need to move fast on this board; a thread that doesn't get answered for a couple of days gets shuffled ot the bottom of the page really quick because there is a huge turnover to new subjects almost every day.

And yeah, a lot of 'liberlas' in the US dislike free trade because they equate it with giant corporations going to Indonesia and using slave workers to make sneakers and stuff.
