Command and Conquer: The First Decade - Music

Post by Hotfoot »

I've always loved the music from the C&C series, and I vaguely remember the CDs having the music tracks in CD format so you could pop them in and listen, but as all of my CDs have taken vacations over the last several years, and recently collecting the C&C: TFD set, I was wondering if there was any way to extract the music into a format easily opened by most media players.

Anyone know anything or have any ideas? My initial google searchs haven't been terribly fruitful.

Are the First Decade file formats the same as the original? A while back, I had found some programs to extract the individual files and to convert the music to a more general format (.WAV or .MP3) for the original C&C. Not sure what they were called or if they're still around, though.

You'd need to look for an extractor and then a converter, and you should be set.

I didn't bother with RA since a CD with all the RA music came with the game pack, though I wouldn't expect there to be much difference.
