Coming out in February 2003....it's done by the same team that produced
GETTYSBURG, and it covers the first few years of the Civil War, culiminating
at CHANCELLORSVILLE, where Stonewall Jackson assraped an entire Federal
Corps...

Its a pretty good read so I'm hoppig the movie will match up with it as well as Gettysburg did with Killer Angles. As to chancerlorsville I think Hooker actually got it right, sure he's biased but that doesn't change the fact that he was right, 99 chances out of 100 would have resulted in a total defeat of Jackson's attack and only a breakdown in communication left that flank vulnerable. Oh well.

I want a movie made out of The Killer Angels. That was a damn good book.

Yeah that movie is the only one I've ever watched longer than FotR Director's Cut.

The only real Civil War movie I've seen was Glory. By God, that was a damn good movie.
