No one can vote in Iraq. They don't have real elections, cause no one can run against Sadam.

Also, I consider Turkey more European than Middle Eastern. Just like I consider Armenia Asian. It may not be right, but it's a minor detail.

The number of Israeli 'accidents' and the lack of punishment directed towards the offending troops is such that any reasonable person must question if these incidents are really 'accidents' or the direct result of an unofficial Israeli policy to target civilians and humanitarian workers.

The problem with the head-in-the-sand attitude is that the other side of the world has a habit of turning around and biting, sometimes viciously. See 11 Sept 2001 for a notable example.
