If evolution vs creation could be compared to a criminal trial, the prosecution would have enough evidence to convict on evolution, and it would have insufficient evidence for a conviction on abiogenesis. Meanwhile, the defense would be ranting about how the client is completely innocent of both charges because you can't prove God didn't do it.
