I remember seeing it back when it aired, everyone going to Chewie's family's place for a holiday.
I didn't remember the Boba Fett cartoon until someone here mentioned it. Even then it's extremely vague.
I remember the two TV Ewok movies slightly better.

No, this is the first I've seen X-E. I was just out looking for some info on shows I saw as a kid (Kroft Superstars, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, etc.) and went looking for the holiday special too. I vaguely remember the holiday special after seeing the screencaps, but don't really remember any of it; I was 7 or 8 when it aired.
