See the "Star Wars Lies" thread in the HoS. He made an interesting chew toy for a while but if you look at his last post, he has imperiously decided to ignore 100% of the rebuttals to his arguments. In my opinion, he has reached the point where he is clearly not even trying to debate any more.

Based on his comment in Russian, it is likely that he ignored rebuttals because he was insulted (the idiomatic meaning is hard to translate, but it was most definitely a dismissal based on improper language). If so, that would make at least one additional breach of the debating rules, possibly two.

Russian doesn't seem to have any redeeming value. As Kuroneko noted, he got all up in-arms about his treatment (read the forums' header, Russian!) and violated the language rule -- a two-fold violation.

But ... whether it's something I can substantiate with a shred of reasoning or it's just an emotional knee-jerk, I'm only voting to title Russian tonight. I implored the guy to either address all of the counter-arguments he's as of yet ignored or hurry up and concede. If he does that, shuts his trap for awhile and learns what's what, I think my vote will be validated.

If he doesn't ... ? Oh, well. The majority was right to be less merciful than me

I'm going to go for titling before the ban. How can we not give a blubbering moron like this the title of "Village Idiot"?

Now, I don't really expect him to get any better (though I suppose it could happen in much the same way I could find a winning lotto ticket in a gutter somewhere). We have, after all, let other idiots stay longer (though some of them were more entertaining even though they were more dishonest and had 0 chance of changing... Stuart, for instance).

Of course, I won't miss him when he's gone, either.
