Zaia, while I don't agree with Marla's insinuation that you're a dick tease, I do think you need to get a little bit of a clue here. This guy is OBSESSED!!! I've known too many people in my life that get their minds set on a goal and lose all touch with reality. He fits that definition, hon.

In a way, you're being as unrealistic as he is. He still thinks he's going to win your heart. You still think you can be his friend without him pining over you for the rest of his life. Extreme? Not if I feel a life might be at stake. Zaia seems very unrealistic about the situation. Too many sweet and innocent types like her end up victims because they just don't see it coming. I'm sure you won't agonize a bit over this, but I will have to disagree with the comments you made about me and my predicament. I am not, nor ever have been or will be, a cock tease. As for the "hinting," I have wanted diamond earrings for about four years now, and every time I go to the mall, I walk past the jewelry stores very slowly (like about 90% of the female population, I think) and mention to whomever I am shopping with that I'd like diamond earrings. As many times as I've gone shopping over the past few years, you can rest assured that I mentioned my desire for those earrings to approximately fifty different people. In that kind of situation, if I could afford it, I'd definately buy you the earrings. However, if they were too much of an economic burden for myself, I would not.
