Copy the entire "Rome - Total War" directory before you install RTR. Keep the two separate copies in two separate directories. Create shortcuts to each one.

I've done that and then installed the mod. But theres a problem. I try to open it and it goes to the screen with the background made up of a map of europe and it gives me an error message. It says, "Error : Filename doesn't exist : ( )" and in the parentheses theres an "e" with a smalldiagonal accent above it, a capital "O" with 2 dots above it, an "a" with a "~" above it, a question mark, and finally a square.

any help?￾
