Well, for the tank cap, there's always mods. *Shrug* I don't know if that limit will be present in the campaign or not; as I recall, the Space Marines didn't seem to have that problem with Predators in the demo.
From some other mods that have the heavy weapons teams. I can say that yes, they make a big difference. Playing as I.G. against Orks in Deadman's Crossing with the Dawn of Warhammer 40K mod. Got out a bunch of conscripts and 4 heavy weaps. teams. Conscripts managed to intice the orks to charge my forces. I lost pretty much all my conscripts but I essentially wiped out their entire force thanks to the heavy weaps. teams. They add a lot of defensive punch to the early I.G.

for the heavy weapons squads...you deploy them and un-deploy them, right?

Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."

Yeah. So it takes a few seconds before they can start blowing away the enemy (Thus why I said they add a lot to defense.)

Marine Dreads should be limited. Fluff-wise they're supposed to be rare and ancient. Though there's always the other side of that, since in Epic they're so capped that no-one ever takes them, as they're too limited in firepower and can't be transported, so they tie up a detachment.

Hellguns are lasguns with AP 6 instead of AP -. Essentially, they are better at killing orcs than normal lasguns but are otherwise identical in game terms.
Well, I wish the Karskins have a more varied weapons loadout. Seems like the Guard are lacking on the kickass infantry front.
I really wish that they would make heavy weapons teams work as limited upgrades to a guardsmen squad instead of a micromanagement heavy deployable weapons team. It would be nice is the mini guard commanders worked the same way. That would fix most of my micro issues with the guard.

Nice movie. And yes, it's the intro, or at least part of it. The designer spoke of truely-flying landspeeders from the intro that he wished he could put in DoW. And that movie had truely-flying landspeeders.
EDIT: Well, the buzz at Relicnews is that it's not the intro, but a cutscene. Whether this is the case or not, I do not know. What I do know is that if it's a cutscene, I'm going to go buy Dark Crusade when it comes out, just to play through and watch all the cutscenes.
EDIT 2 and 1/3: Come to think of it, I think the cameraman is a dreadnought.
That was very cool. Doubly so seeing as it was in-engine.
Makes me very glad I pre-ordered it earlier today.

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure there'd have been a lot more autocannon fire. Also, a Dread probably wouldn't have fallen over and been killed like that by the Necron Lord; I'm thinking it would have taken a heavy weapon.
Blood Ravens are officially looney. 'Charge the Monolith!' Yea, it's the size of a building and surrounded by troops. Let's charge it instead of a fighting retreat to some heavy weapons.

This is the second time we've seen them do something pretty stupid. In the first opening movie we see them charge that hill covered in orks for absolutely no reason and lose their entire force.

Space Marines in general are usually looney like that, to my understanding.

Not really. Most are quite happy to fight from afar, to use proper tactics. Blood Angels and successors are happy for death, though.

However, skull probes do not bob in time with audible footsteps. It's more likely to be a marine with only melee weapons, beyond that maybe a servitor with legs.
Pretty! That has to be an mission-movie. It's rendered with the in-game engine! They'd have to be incredibly cheap not to make that one. Or at least like, a 'beat final mission' movie, or a 'your side lost' movie.
