Post by Hades »

I remeber hearing a while back that there would be a new Buffy comic from dark horse set after the events of season 7, but i havent heard any more since.

Anyone know anything about it? like when we might see it on the shelfs?

ah, march 07 according to sci-fi wire.

Its meant to act as a season 8 of buffy which leaves me wondring where Queen of slayers book fits in continuity wise.

Novels are generally considered Non-continuity by most fans.

And give the magical sue child that appears in "Queen of the Slayers", that's a damn good thing.
ISARMA: Daikaiju Coordinator: Just Add Radiation
Justice League- Molly Hayes: Respect Hats or Freakin' Else!
Browncoat
Supernatural Taisen - "[This Story] is essentially "Wouldn't it be awesome if this happened?" Followed by explosions."

Reviewing movies is a lot like Paleontology: The Evidence is there...but no one seems to agree upon it.

But theory is that everything is cannocial until it is contradicted by something else. then a choice has to be made which bit is right.

But even given the fans that dont consider the book in-continuity do they consider the comic in continuity?

Full canon is considered when it comes from the mouths of either "The Almighty Joss" himself, one of the writers from the show or one of the actors (IE: Amber Benson's work in the Willow and Tara mini).

Which is why the upcoming comics are considered canonical. Joss Okays a broad outline of the story.

If the Godawful boards were up, I'd link a snarky review, detailing why the book his horrific.
