This is true. HOWEVER, we do not slam board members unless they are acting like total gits. Zaia was asking our opinions on something. I have a hard time finding fault with your wife, honestly, because if I was married to a man who had been through what you have, I would be tempted to jump to conclusions about the situation I am in too. I think her comments reflect the defensiveness she has for you and what you have been through, and I don't take them personally.
I call on you to trust in the fact that I am not the things your wife has said, just as I am trusting that you are truthfully answering the questions about what went on here last night. If she still believes what she wrote, that is up to her. I don't fully agree with the way she went about stating her opinion, but yes, this is a public forum and she is certainly entitled to think something other than what the majority thinks.
I do not want a ban put against either of you because, although I don't know much about Marla (other than recent events), I do value your contribution to the board. Were you around when I told my story about the best friend I used to be in love with, who treated me like crap, who is now in love with me who I kicked out of my life back in September? Trust me, with him in his then-current condition, it took a LOT of bitch for me to do that. I am strong enough and bitchy enough when I need to be, but I don't think this is one of those times. If my husband had been led on and treated like shit, I'd be wary of a chick talking about something that sounds similar (even though I am NOT doing that AT ALL). I didn't see that thread, and I do trust you to stick up for yourself when you need to, but I personally have a philosophy that if a bloke falls for a girl who isn't interested, it's his problem. This is mainly from one of my exes who wouldn't stay dumped, and my best friend being stalked for a year by a gimp who tried to emotionally blakcmail her through me.

While Marla's comments were irritating and tactless, I don't think we should be so quick to ban people just for that. Long term nasty behavior, though, is another story.

There is a difference between respect and political correctness, and frankly, Marla showed no signs of either.

I would recomend a custom title. Also have a mod send her a warning that she is being watched. She isn't worth the time or attention she is seeking. In a worst case senario have her banned, but only if she keeps up with the attitude.
You people have been a lot more eager to ban recently. RayCav, Arminius, Azeron and the others were here for a long time before banning. Nowadays it seems as soon as someone steps out of line, the board is out for blood.
