The Federation's Future?

Post by FaxModem1 »

What happens next? Will they go to war with the Romulans? Will the Romulans go to Civil war? When the Klingon Empire recovers, will it discover that the Feds and Roms outnumber them by that time at least 10 to 1?

And finally...

Will the Dominion ever attack again?

Did B&B Create the founders? If not, don't expect to see them again. At least not in a major way.

I recall that at the end of the movie, the Romulans were interested in at least talking about a peace solution or something...

All of your scenarios imply continunity. Therefore, they're all wrong. If B&B are ever allowed to make a movie again, it will feature a new alien of the week with a technobabble superpower. Janeway will save the Federation. It will make the viewers pine for the cinematic masterpiece that was the Wing Commander movie. Paramount will go bankrupt.

Any city gets what it admires, will pay for, and, ultimately, deserves…We want and deserve tin-can architecture in a tinhorn culture. And we will probably be judged not by the monuments we build but by those we have destroyed.--Ada Louise Huxtable, "Farewell to Penn Station", New York Times editorial, 30 October 1963
