All right, we're going and I'm in a great starting position. Prepare yourselves for the invasion of my warships made of plastic blocks! :P

BTW, are we doing an RP thread for this game? It would be interesting, to say the least.

You know how it is with me and RP threads. When they're suggested, I argue against them. Then I ignore them for a long time. Then I finally join in. :)

Er. How about an honor rule? No research on the first turn? :P I forgot to make all the research objects take a trillion to research. Please?

I'm going to be extremely mad if I see a scout ship, the first thing from your empire armed with a Nova Bomb. :P

Edit: I'm going to undo all of your turns for a sec. Please get that research queue cleared! Because I will know! :D

Ah, didn't realize we weren't supposed to spend those initial points. Re-uploaded without the research.

Aw, but I wanted to research troops so I can keep my planets. :(

Edit: And by the way, I was practicing with a one player game and the nova bomb was one of the first things I found.

On the subject of research.
Is there something I'm meant to be building here? It's been a while since I've played and I don't remember starting at 0 research income and none of the structures available seem to influence research points at all. Is this a thing with the mod or am I just being retarded?

That's a quirk of the mod. Nobody researches. You get tech from colonizing planets with relics on them, and different sorts of tech. Like the 'crashed alien ships' give bigger hulls. 'Thruster Drives' give tactical engines.

The vague ones like 'alien cities, advanced technology' give a wide range of things, or ship captains.

I set my colony ships to ram Spyder :P.

I got hyper-ebola virus and launched it on his homeworld. Now he's losing hundred of millions of people a turn and he's going to lose a third of his empire with one cheap trick just because it's impossible to research medical bay. Peace I say Spyder, I don't want to kill any more of your people. Don't worry I treat my slaves well, you get full medical and pension.

Anyway the game IMO is going way too slow. I am not eager to continue if it's only 5 turns a month. IMO, the game's got to be run like Tux is running SE:V... churn the turn every 48 hours, no matter who is submitting and who is not, at a set time like Tux is saying with 9:00 PM PST or whenever you have time Nephtys. If it's going to die might as well abort before it comes to term, or decide to keep it and have regular doses, one or the other, not this half-limbo thing.

Sorry, I'm gonna run the turn tonight. I've been so hideously occupied of late, that the entire game just slipped out of my mind! Sorry all! I'll get it back going and crush you all.

Poo, no need to say sorry people get busy.

I only brought it up because it'll be a regular thing. You have to be more evil like Tuxedo and churn your turns every 48 hours no matter who has his turns in... it's the only way it'll work. Maybe every other day, run at a set time could be good :P.

Or maybe we could let it die. Since SE:V is here it doesn't matter to me either way.

Ideally we could ask the PBW mods to install your mod so you won't need to bother with executing the turn.
