ahhh the simple guilty pleasures. Of course, this may be colored by the fact that I think Final Fantasy is the saddest most pathetic non-RPG ever made.

Final Fantasy was cool in its 8- and 16-bit incarnations (working on a FF IV fanfic right now). I never got into the Playstation games.

I liked the first couple, but I've never played any of the more recent playstation ones. But then RPG's where never my thing, the third and more recent one I ever played was the ASVS RPG...

Someone who agrees with me. Miracle! The one game I bothered to play (FF VII) was a glorified interactive movie and I have no reason to think the others are any different.
