GameStop, EB Games take PlayStation 3 pre-orders

Indeed, sales representatives from five GameStop and EB Games stores in the Boston area said they had already gone through their pre-order quotas of roughly 15 consoles each.

A spokesman for Grapevine, Texas-based GameStop Corp. (GME.N: Quote, Profile, Research), which owns both store chains, was not immediately available for comment.

Well, it seems that the PS3 does, in fact, exist and that people will try to sell it.

Harvey Norman, Myer and several other stores in Australia have been selling pre-orders for the PS3 for months now... Ever since, in fact, E3.

HMV, GAME and Virgin have been advertising it for a while and taking pre-orders. I noticed they all amended their release dates from November to March after Sony unveiled their latest sodomising of Europe.

All the EB's and Gamestops in my area are already sold out. That was going to be the easiest $5,000 bucks I'd have ever made, too.
