Hey all,
I recently came across the remarkably hilarious, 18-page rider for Iggy Pop and the Stooges. (For those who don't know, the rider is a section of a performance contract where all equipment, security, lighting, food, and other needs of the artist are listed that the venue is expected to provide.)

Ah, the big time...bands that played Wichita when I worked for a promoter were lucky if they got Budd brand lunchmeat and Donald Duck brand orange juice (you can taste the can in every can!).

I did spend a couple hours one evening trying to find liquid vitamin E for Marilyn Manson's bass player, but guess what happens when you make special requests after the health food stores all close?

they are direct quotes from the rider I was picking out the "gems"
