You can get any bakery nowadays to print any picture onto a cake. They have special printers which will produce a thin edible sheet, which they just put on top of the cake. Just give them the image file and they can print it. I remember we made up a Rome: Total War cake for Matthew's birthday.

I think anyone recieving such a cake would be well within their rights to beat the giver upside the head with a crowbar.

I believe that the thin edible sheet of "paper" they use is made from rice.
