Star Wars Saga HD in november?

Post by Kurgan »

I don't have HD, so this won't mean much, but I'm curious if anybody knows any details of this. Will the movies appear as they currently are on DVD (2004 editions for the OT for example)?

Anybody planning to record this (is that possible)?

Apologies if this was posted already, as usual, haven't been around here much lately.
fun/fantasy movies existed before the overrated Star Wars came out. What made it seem 'less dark' was the sheer goofy aspect of it: two robots modeled on Laurel & Hardy, and a smartass outlaw with bigfoot co-pilot and their hotrod pizza-shaped ship, and they were sucked aboard a giant Disco Ball. -adw1
Someone asked me yesterday if Dracula met Saruman and there was a fight, who would win. I just looked at this man. What an idiotic thing to say. I mean really, it was half-witted. - Christopher Lee

Bah, spoke too soon.

If the videos on that page are any indication, they're definately the 2004 editions of the OT (bad colors on Tatooine, SE take off of the falcon from mos eisley, awful 2004 death star explosion in ANH, etc.).

I have a HD rear projection. I was thinking of getting HDCinemax to watch this. What would be the best way to record it?

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.

I have Cinemax HD and a DVR.

I'll record ANH and TESB. Won't waste the DVR's space on the rest.
