I have a GameBoy...

Not the color one, not the pocket one, not Advance, not SP, the original F*cking GameBoy. :)

I play Zelda, Tetris, and Mortal Combat on it whenever I'm on a long trip.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, mind you. :P

Contact is pretty neat, although it's very old-school and won't hold your hand. Combat is closer to KOTOR than a traditional RPG, and the dialouge is absolutely hilarious.

I used to have one of those.

About six or so years ago, I worked in a restaurant, and a kid actually left his there, along with Pokemon Red. I held onto it at the restaurant for a week in case someone showed up for it, but they never came, so I kept it. I still brought it with me every day on the off chance the owner came back, though.

Unfortunately, it got a busted screen, so I upgraded to a GB Color. I got Pokemon Yellow, Silver, and a Bionic Commando remake(pretty fun, too) for that, then got a used GBA SP some years later. I got an SP 2 a few years later, after it got lost for a while and all but fused to my Castlevania: Circle of the Moon cartridge.

And now, the R button on my SP 2 just died.

:(

I've got a first-gen DS. Currently, I own Mario Kart DS, Star Fox Command and Advanced Wars Dual Strike. I'm currently replaying Fire Emblem for the GBA though.

Original DS, with Mario64, MarioKart, Top Spin 2, New Super Mario Bros, Metroid Prime: Hunters, Tetris & Advance Wars: Dual Strike.

A Windows CE palmtop PC. Which technically doesn't count. But I can play a mean game of Tetris on it . . .

Is StarFox any good? I'd been toying with the option.

I play NOTHING because LAMEASS Nintendo keeps 'repairing' my DS with a more-broken screen than the last. Hopefully one of these days I'll be able to play Ouendan again...

I've got a DS lite, a GBA SP (NES edition) and a GBA (missing).

I've been mainly playing Metroid Prime: Hunters and Tales of Phantasia recently. There's nothing finer to play on long bus rides. Except maybe Mr. Driller.

According to Starbound, it's a problem solvable with enough combat drugs to turn you into the Incredible Hulk.

Yes, Nintendo of Australia does have a number of issues with its support department. Last I heard, they weren't even honouring the promise regarding crack issues on the DS Lites, and they certainly never offered free replacements of screens with dead pixels, as they did in the US.

They're WANKERS about the warranty. When I originally called about my single dead-pixel DSL, the woman was all 'lolz we don't cover that' then when I mentioned all the Nintendo 'we totally cover that' stuff, she says 'oh well send it in, but it might not be covered' etc. Basically, standard bad-support playbook stuff, with trying to talk customers out of using the warranty.

And then they replace the screen, send it back... and it's got MORE broken pixels. I'm on go THREE now, and it's just bullshit.

I have a gameboy advance. I'm recently picked up Pokemon Yellow again, found out my sister had deleted my old file. So now I'm doing the long grind back up to those lofty levels.

That would be because it's a completely different game than Ouendan. Only the gameplay is the same.

It's interesting. I haven't gotten very far in the story yet. I mainly play multiplayer. The control setup seems daunting at first, but after 5 minutes its' as smooth as butter.

Same here. Original Game Boy

I mostly play football on it but Tetris, Missile Command and Asteroids come out now and then. I also have Godzilla and Spiderman but I don't care for either of those much.

I also still have my Coleco Electronic Quarterback game that I play every now and then just to see if it still works. 20+ years old and still going. Pretty good for something with just a bunch of red LED's and a catchy little touchdown tune. :)

Uts and I just recently got a couple of Nintendo DSs; his two weeks ago and mine last week when we reserved our Wii at Toys R Us. Originally we were going to get mine later, like when the Wii launched, but we changed our mind and got it much earlier.

We have seven games for it so far,

Uts':
-Animal Crossing
-Harvest Moon DS
-Mario Kart DS
-Osu! Takakae! Ouendan
-Super Mario 64 DS

Mine:
-Animal Crossing
-Contact
-Trauma Center

Three-player wireless Mario Kart with DPDP is fun as hell (I need to get my own copy around or after Christmas). I got Contact based on DPDP's playing it, and while I more or less just started, I'm liking it. And two-player Animal Crossing is neat and amusing.

This is the first game console I've ever actually owned by myself from the beginning, and I'm loving it a lot. I hope to collect more games in the future.

By the way, Uts' is black, mine is pink. ;)

I just picked up a Nintendo DS. I really want to get a PSP because a bunch of my friends have one and I can play against them. The DS is pretty sweet. I like the funcionality that playing with two screens offers. The touch part is neat as well, but I currently have no games that utilize it. I just picked it up from a friend for really cheap and I don't have any games yet. I am borrowing the Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time game which is pretty fun, but I am looking to buy something new.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm looking for a good RPG. I might get Children of Mana, but Sword of Mana was definitely lacking (Secret of Mana is my favorite video game of all time.)

Final Fantasy III's coming out soon. Also there's Contact (quirky but reasonable) Magical Starsign looks quite interesting, if you can cope with the cutesy design, and I've been enjoying LostMagic, which is a realtime tactical RPG, with a clever magic system and shades of Pokemon style monster catching and training.
