I wonder if they resolved this one problem I had with bookmarks. You could sort them with the bookmark manager, but the sorting would never show up on the BM menu.

Anyways, I love the way FF handles tabs. In the past, they would get squished if you had a lot of them and would eventually run off the tab bar. But now, that slider thingy solves that problem. I may actually abandon Avant. :D

Is there any way to transfer dictionaries between computers? I use two computers and I'd like to have the words I defined on one not need defining ont he other.

EDIT: The Swedish version of FF 2.0 has changed the search plugins. From Yahoo! USA to Swedish Yahoo! and Amazon.com to Amazon.co.uk etc. (I wonder whose "brilliant" idea it was to make those changes from 1.5.0.7). The Swedish Yahoo! site is poor and I use Amazon.com far more than British Amazon. Is there a way to modify the plugins?
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins

Open the xml file in your favourite text editor, edit at your leisure.

Dictionary files are stored as plugins in your profile. For example, my dictionary is here:

C:\Documents and Settings\[account name]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
[profile #]\extensions\en-GB@dictionaries.addons.mozilla.org

Install the same base dictionary in both browsers and try copy/pasting the files.

For a moment, I was getting really pissed about losing all of my previous settings. Now all is good. I just had to install new updates on the add-ons. Also, I just unintalled/reinstalled FireFox 2 and it imported my old bookmarks by itself. Totally sweet. Also, the spell check is awesome.

Not to sound silly but how do you actually train the dictionary with new words, or at least set it to proper English rather than silly Americanised (or Americanized as it wants) English?

Cache: Tools > Options > Advanced > Network

Spell Check Dictionaries: Once again, Google should be your friend.
