I don't know. The first one was absolutely atrocious but the rest wasn't so bad if only for the visuals, and the final one was awesome for its use of the Flash Gordon soundtrack alone.

Dude, Queen music is the only thing that made it awesome. Watched it without the soundtrack, and it was as boring as shit.

Well, SB is a haven for people who like to play with graphics engines and design their own models. To them, I daresay that "Ultimate" implies that you personally created dozens of 3D models and damn near melted a CPU rendering all the ships you put on screen at once.

Having anything resembling a plot, characters, or story development really isn't of much interest to that crowd.

Some of the greatest Trek episodes didn't have one space battle in them. (Of course, I'm talking about TOS.)

In Star Wars, some of my favorite scenes are Luke looking at the twin suns of Tatooine, or Yoda lifting Luke's X-wing out of the swamp.
