Its so damn obvious and happens so often that I never thought of it as anything really irritating. Until today.
Can someone explain to me why does Windows XP need to refresh ALL DEVICES when accessing data on a single partition of a hard disk?
The example in question: I fired up my winamp playlist...nothing. And then I hear my CD/RW revving up. Wtf?
My main playlist doesn't have any links to the CD in there, so that's not the point.
Is it a windows bug, a feature or something else?
Dont spin the cd goddamnit!
