Yes, since it's lighter than helium IIRC...

Wait, that quote there seems to explain it:
"Well by the 40k BBB page 60
its a .75 caliber shell with a miniture rocket propellent made out of depleted deutrium"

Anyone care to confirm?

Oh and the comment on this quote:
*it more dense then uranium by how much I dont really know of any indications how much more*

AAAARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope It is DEUTERIUM.

Prehaps it is a misnomer, and is some super dense material that is produced by inducing fusion in deuterium, past iorn (yes, i know, but you can still put energy in)

I would like to point out I am aware of this

a few things

A: I have quotes that detail bolter weaponry Gaunts Ghosts and IIRC some gav thorpe novels. specifically mention DU cores

B: Yep, as Xio-something said, its described as a super dense material, denser than DU

C: Its described as a Deuterium core,

D: other things described as having Deuterium cores are Imperium macrocannon shells.

Dont ask me why, but they do..

I used DU because its been specified before, and is recognisable.

Unlike some super dense material whos only measurement is "its denser than DU"

Sorry, the material mentioned in bolters isnt IIRC verifiably denser than DU, thats the core of anti-tank rounds IIRC.
