My brother and his rats

My brother used to work for the army breeding rats that had been genetically engineered with growth horomones, to be Uber-rats. After dissecting a number for baseline tests on the Uber-rat's liver, brains, and other organs, The proceeded to test the new hybrid's resistance to a varitiety of substances and biological agents.

So I'm wondering why the krff would our government pay for this.

Hmm, so the possibility of making stronger humans that are more resistant to chemical and biological agents would be totally uninteresting to a military organization?

I doubt many would be willing to have their genes perminatly kinked with the resulting birth defect rates, for that benifit to our military.

Americans don't like to see their soldiers get killed in foreign wars. Nobody cares about what happens to rats, no matter how uber they might be. For more information, see the book Rats, Bats, and Vats by Eric Flint and David Freer.

Alternatively, they have discovered an army of giant corpse-eating rats left over from world war one and are trying to find out how to exterminate it.
