Kirk takes this fight, here is a guy who regularly did battle with gods and super compters and won. He may challenge Palpy to a game of Fizbin, but more likely he would whip out some patented Kirk Fu and drop kick his butt over a railing to those pesky open reactor shafts.

In regard to Force lightning, its the poor fat, balding stunt double that would take the brunt of those.

Yes but I doubt that Kirk could defeat the empire by over loading his circuits by acting like a jester on crack.

I always liked how spouting random nonsense could cause planet controling super computers to explode - the magic of Jim Kirk I guess.

The Gorn, God from ST 5, M-5 super computer, Landru (another super computer), Kahn again, Trelane, Leonardo Da vinci, Jack the ripper, Genghis Khan, Kahless and not to forget Harry Mudd.

That point is he has been up against some heavy hitters and still come out on top.

Now the ripped shirt kirk is perhaps the strongest force of the ST universe and while I don't doubt RSK's ability to defeat regular SW characters, the Emperor's power is just to strong. He can forsee the enemy's moves, the force is with him etc. A fairer fight would be RSK vs Han Solo.

That wouldn't be remotely fair...

RSK takes Palpatine. Probably gets captured and roughed up (shirt gets ripped) - Palpatine comes in a gets a really go gloat going, at which point Kirk gets loose when his back is turned and Kirk-Fu enables him to drop Palpy down a shaft, either with a double handed blow to the back, or more lilkely with the fall on your back legs in the guys stomach over the top throw he saves for special occasions..

Palpatine precognision doesn't help, because even he saw it coming he wouldn't belive it.

That's the problem for Kirk though, Palpy wouldn't bother wasting a good gloat on an insignificant starship captain. If he needed to talk to Kirk, he'd just torture him using the force until either Kirk spills the beans or Palpy decides that Kirk will never talk - either way Kirk is dead after that.

Disagree, if Kirk is worth capturing, a roughing up, shirt ripping and making an appointment in Palpy's diary (who do you think his PA is?) then he's definately worth a good gloat -

I mean, look at Palpy, does he look like the kind of baddie who can resist a good gloat. I bet he gloats in front of everybody he captures, no matter how unimportant. Probably knows he shouldn't but just can't help it

Are you kidding?! When thattrickle blood is there and he wipes it away....LOOK OUT!! Full Ripped shirt effect and the Kirk Fu becomes LETHAL. Imagine any Bruce Lee movie, when he gets a pair on nunchuks...same effect when Kirk gets that blood in the corner of his mouth....
