Post by 2000AD »

Who is the toughest God?

1- "God" - (the christian God)

2- One of the Hindu Gods -( IIRC theres a helluva lot of them)

3- Allah - Islamic God (IIRC he's also the Christian God, but who cares)

4- Cthulu or other HP Lovecraft god

5- C'Tan from WH40K

6- Chaos God from WH40K

7- Om, Blind Io or other Discworld God

8- Any Ancient Greek/Roman God

9- Some other God that i've neglected to mention.

Ao from Forgotten Realms. He governs those who interact with mortals.

I was going to say Mystra or Tyr (Forgotten Realms, not Norse), but SirNitram makes a point with Ao there.

Allah, he is an all-powerful god without any other deities to compete with.

If you read the Qoran he is reasonably rational compared to most other gods as well. His followers mightn't always be, but I think that goes for all other gods too.

A couple of beings you've forgotten to mention:
Lorien(Obvious god character)
Culture Mind(God-like in abilities and range, correctly fitted one could destroy numerous solar systems in hours while at the same time putting all the minds of the peoples of all the worlds it destroyed into storage and restoring them later)
The Forest Spirit(From the Anime Princess Mononoke, power over life and death)

I vote other

You forgot the Lady of Pain from Sigil. Shes not technically a god, but shes at least as powerful as one.

Infinity, from the Marvel Universe. He is the embodiment of all life; no one can kill him without killing themselves.

The ultimate god = Me with the 'Infinity Gauntlet' (from Marvel's Infinity Gauntlet series, would make me tougher then even Eternity and Death).

Nature. Any god that exists is by default part of nature and subject to its rules or lack there of.

Nature, Death, and Life are all embodied by those under Ao's command. Ao, in fact, strips all three of these deities of ALL their power and confines them to mortal planes. Therefore the Infinity Gauntlet is a mere trinket before him.

The Hindu gods will inevitably include Bramhan, the supreme God and creator of the universe (essentially equal to the Judeo-Christian God, if not the same being). Most other Hindu gods would be mere "angels" in comparison; although I recall that Shiva (the destroyer of worlds, perhaps the embodiment of entropy) may have similar powers.

Brahmin is afraid of Shiva's Girl Friend.

The fact that the embodyment of Chaos and Enthropy actually has the balls to fuck Kali, is something else.
