Well he was high on coke, wasn't he? Does cocaine have that sort of I-don't-notice-I'm-filled-with-holes sorta effect? :)

When you snort as much as Tony did, yes. How much did he do, half a kilo? He's lucky his heart didn't explode before he got shot.

But Chow Yun Fat gets the life time achievement award for doing it in just about all of his movies.

ANother good one would be Sean Connery in "Robin and Marion": After getting an awful festering wound fighting the new sherriff, his belovade Mary POISONS HIM, an then he still has the strength to draw his bow. (To select a burial site for the two of them)

I was always partial to Norris Packard's death in 08th MS team.

Goes out to take out the long range weaponry threatening the launch of a hospital ship that's going to head off into orbit.

Takes out two guntanks and all the 08th MS teams long range weaponry, ends up facing off against the Feddie lover of a woman he loves like a daughter and who's standing between him and the last guntank with a drawn beam saber...

Charges in and lunges at the opponent's gundam, leaving himself totally open so he can get his shot and not kill the other mobile suit pilot.. and right before Shiro's beam saber carves through his Gouf custom's cockpit..

"VICTORY IS MINE!"

Gou gets cut in half but his last control commands trigger it's trio of autocannons which destroy the last guntank.

There also of course the afforementioned deaths of Boromir, Shuggard & Gordon, assorted Chow-Yun Fat characters and Spike Spiegel to.
